About Me

head shot1.jpg

I have been a Speech-Language Pathologist for 13 years serving children of all ages. I specialize in working with neurodivergent populations focusing on increasing children's ability to express themselves and participate in the social world. Therapy goals are designed in collaboration with each child and their families so that outcomes are meaningful for each individual.

I worked in Jeffco Public Schools for the last 12 years and supported children in a center program for Autism during the last 5 years. I served a language and literacy center program for 2 years, focused on improving oral and written language skills for children with severe reading disabilities. Teaching reading and writing skills is another area of passion for me. My unique perspective as a speech pathologist allows me to help children with reading and writing disabilities that are not improving with traditional instruction.

I received my Master's Degree in 2008 from the University of Colorado. I currently hold a Clinical Certificate of Competence (CCC) through the American Speech Hearing and Language Association and I am licensed as an SLP in the state of Colorado.

I am proud to be a Colorado native and love to spend time camping and hiking in our beautiful state. I am also grateful to be able to work with children to make changes that will impact their lives in a lasting way. I believe all children can learn and that it is important to set challenging goals and not underestimate a child's potential.
